Knoxville, TN – Sales of “Daily Thoughts for Friendly Fellows, Reflections on Seeing the Good in Ourselves and Others” are going strong in the first quarter of 2009 as Ellen Hubrig makes her way from Tennessee back to Pennsylvania for several book signings.
Ellen will be at her high school, Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, PA on Sunday, April 26th from 12-4 for their second annual spring fling event. Many vendors will be present for hours of shopping and lunch is provided. On Tuesday, April 28th Ellen will present a Power Point presentation at the Fisher Auditorium at the Dock Woods Community in Lansdale, PA. at 2:00 on how the Society of Friendly Fellows began, the history of the book and information on current members such as former First Lady Laura Bush, Governor Ed Rendell and Mayor Michael Nutter.
The first quarter donation in 2009 to the National Parkinson Foundation was made for $250.91. As the end of April will be 6 months since the launch of the book the total donations to the National Parkinson Foundation could reach $1,000.00.
